Walking buddy is an automation of the traditional blind person’s walking stick, aimed at helping the visually impaired people navigate easily. This is achieved through real time audio cues and tactile feedback. The device comes with a mobile phone application. This way, it is integrated with a mapping application to provide turn to turn directions to the user. The application is purely text to speech and speech to text, making it user friendly to a visually impaired person..
